ChartsMatch

ChartsMatch for Claude

The ChartsMatch connector lets you ask Claude about our Daily Analysis. Every trading day we run a full ChartsMatch backtest on about 50 tickers each on NSE, NYSE and NASDAQ. With the connector, Claude can read the latest analysis and answer your questions about it.

Free, read-only, and no ChartsMatch account needed. The connector only reads the published analysis. It cannot run new backtests, change anything, or see your ChartsMatch account, and it does not use your daily query allowance.

Add the connector

From the Claude directory: in Claude, open Customize → Connectors, search for ChartsMatch, and select Connect. There is no sign-in step.

As a custom connector: in the same screen, choose Add custom connector and enter this URL, with no authentication:

https://chartsmatch.com/mcp

On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization Owner may need to add the connector first.

In Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http chartsmatch https://chartsmatch.com/mcp

Once it is added, just ask your question in a normal chat. Claude decides when to use ChartsMatch.

What you can ask

The connector gives Claude two tools. Both only read data.

Read-onlyToday's Daily Analysisget_daily_analysis

The latest Daily Analysis for one exchange (NSE, NYSE or NASDAQ). For each ticker and each entry type: stock sentiment, direction (Long or Short), strength, risk-to-reward, and the historical target and stop levels, as a percentage and a price.

Try asking:
  • “What's in today's ChartsMatch Daily Analysis for NSE?”
  • “Which NASDAQ tickers have a Strong Trade in today's ChartsMatch analysis?”
Read-onlyLook up one tickerlookup_ticker

The same figures for a single ticker, under each entry type. If the ticker is not one of the tickers in today's Daily Analysis, Claude will say so. You can still backtest most listed tickers yourself on chartsmatch.com.

Try asking:
  • “What does ChartsMatch say about INFY today?”
  • “Is AAPL in today's ChartsMatch Daily Analysis?”

What's included

  • All three entry types shown on /daily: Buy/Sell at Close (entered at the candle close), Buy Above High (the price went on to break above the candle structure high) and Sell Below Low (the price went on to break below the candle structure low). Each carries its own date, because a directional analysis can occasionally be a day or two older than the others.
  • The connector covers the latest analysis only. To see how earlier analyses played out over the following 10 sessions, visit /daily/results.
  • The analysis is published once per trading day, after each market closes, so the figures do not change during the day. Weekends and market holidays show the most recent trading day.
  • Every analysis uses the same settings: 3-candle patterns, daily candles, a 10-session lookahead and the conservative risk profile.
  • The connector does not run new backtests. To analyse any ticker with your own settings, use the ChartsMatch app.

Limits

All Claude users share one request limit to keep the service fast for everyone. If it is reached, Claude will tell you ChartsMatch is busy; try again a minute later.

Privacy

The connector only receives what Claude sends to a tool, such as an exchange or a ticker. We never receive your conversation. We keep a short log line for each request (which tool, which exchange, and whether it worked) for up to 90 days. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Help and support

If the connector is not working, first check that it is enabled in Claude under Customize → Connectors. For anything else, email [email protected] or use our contact page.

These are only for research and education purpose, not trade recommendations. ChartsMatch is not a registered investment adviser. The figures are historical pattern statistics; past patterns do not guarantee future results.
